Korea’s National Tourism Organization announced on the 25th of July that popular idol group Super Junior has been appointed as the new Korea Tourism ambassador. The reason why they have decided to appoint SJ as Korea's new tourism ambassador was because Super Junior came in first in the latest foreigner centered survey with the theme “The artist whom you wish to travel in Korea with most” and hence the National Tourism Organization decided to invite them to be the ambassadors.
Besides that, the National Tourism Organization has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SJ’s management company, SM Entertainment. Both parties have reached a consensus in hope to promote both Korean tourism and entertainment and they hope that both Korean tourism and entertainment can continue to flourish overseas. This has also become one of the Korean industry’s collaboration plans.
Super Junior’s fifth album will be released next month and with regards to this, the individual teaser pictures of each member will be revealed starting this month, the use of vibrant and daring colours as well as their distinct images had allowed the flower boys to stand out, portraying a style which is very different from their ordinary one, SJ’s fans regardless of whether they are from Korea or overseas have been very excited about the release of this new album after 1 year and 2 months (since the release of 4jib).
